KITTEN ENUCLEATION

SUGAR RAY'S SKIN GRAFT Sugar Ray was a stray found with a gaping forelimb wound and taken to a private cat shelter in Omak WA. This lucky feline was adopted by a local Winthrop family. Dr. Marrone's attempts at primary and secondary closure repeatedly failed. For unknown reasons, this site continuously resisted healing and increased in size over the course of the next six months. As the wound progressed, the only re-courses became amputation or a skin graft. This slideshow shows the skin graft procedure and it's amazing results.
